Alexandria Bombach's music doc 'It's Only Life After All,' starring the folk rock duo, continues to be a hit in limited release.
In its second weekend in theaters, the Indigo Girls documentary It’s Only Life After All dropped 37 percent in gross revenue despite adding two more screens, but that was enough for the film to top the box office for nonfiction releases. From 16 theaters, the doc grossed $8,855. That was only a thousand dollars more than the next documentary title on the chart, Remembering Gene Wilder, which grossed $7,898 in its sixth week. All other docs reporting figures dropped from the previous weekend except for Ennio, which is back in the mix on three screens to add $4,753 to its total. It wound up being the only doc with a per-screen average above one thousand dollars.
